I swear, every single time I come across all these adventure posts on Instagram, it really makes me want to start a new life somewhere with plenty of wildlife and the great outdoors and set up camp somewhere and live my life hiking every weekend. Who am I kidding, my fitness level can only pass for Bukit Timah Hill. It doesn’t hurt to get inspired every now and then, perhaps it’ll even push me to sign up for that gym membership. So here are a few adventurers on Instagram for you to get inspired from:
Her instagram is packed with tons of stunning mountain-scapes and forest trails. She’s even video-ed wild bears ‘fishing’ for salmon! How many of us have actually seen a bear out of the zoo? LUCKY LUCKY HER.
Just this photo is enough to give me the goosebumps! Definitely not your everyday dude next-door, he’s always off hanging on some rock or wall, definitely scaling great heights this one.
He has adventured far and wide, hiking, running, cycling, you name it, he’s probably done it. He’s also done short videos to document his adventures for you and I to see the magnitude of climbs. He’s really impressive.
Because adventures are best shared with your family! What an amazingly cool dad, I can’t even support myself on a climb much less carry someone along. Also, his kid has probably seen more nature than I have in my entire life. #lifeofacitydweller
She is just a girl who loves climbing mountains. And we can see why because the places she climbs? STUNNING. There’s never a lack of beautiful scenery in her life (and on her feed).
“When you climb a mountain, you have to take advantage of the positives, because there are always negatives over the course of the climb. Things like sunlight, or when your extremities finally start warming back up, or when you get a break in the wind, or when a rainbow dances over-head, or when you stand on the summit.” Adventures + nuggets of wisdom, what more could you ask for?
Life is one grand adventure with this one. From riding on a camel into the sunset in the Sahara, to dropping a 5ft wave in Costa Rica, to climbing Mt. Rinjani, the second highest peak in Indonesia, there’s never a dull moment.
She’s not just an adventurer, but also a dreamer, traveller and mountain lover. She’s also photographed some amazing wildlife, floral and fauna and landscapes! Nothing is too difficult for her to conquer.
Humans aren’t the only ones who love a good adventure, these pets are just as thrill-seeking as we are too!
